Pro Bono Consulting

Maxine Martell has provided valuable pro-
bono services while serving on Boards and
Executive Committees of non-profit
organizations.

While serving for seven years as a
member of the Board of Directors of the
MIT Enterprise Forum of NYC, she created
a series of stellar events. Using her deep
marketing experience and talent as a
futurist, she held visionary sold-out forums
and events that increased membership,
brand awareness, and furthered
community economic development.

During the five years she served on the
Board of South Florida PBS (formerly
WPBT2), the organization evolved from
being a TV channel to a multi-platform
content provider. As a Board member, she
served on the Audit and Personnel
Committees. She developed the concept
for the video documentary “Cuba and the
Jews: The Untold Story” as part of the
Channel's expansion in the Hispanic
market.

She also served on the Advisory Board of
Startup Quest, a federally funded non-
profit that provides entrepreneurship
training
.
She continues to provide services as an
Officer of the Wharton Club of South
Florida, including continuing her tradition
of creating sold-out events.
